Ashton Jeanty — RB · LV

AI outlook

Ashton Jeanty explosive Raiders RB. Elite athletic profile. Bellcow opportunity. Young talent rising. Analyst view: talented young back with strong upside.

Pros

Unambiguous 3-down, featured-role starter with no real RB competition on the depth chart
Major O-line upgrade (Linderbaum, Burford) plus new OL coach after playing behind a bottom-tier line as a rookie
Retained pass-catching role (55 rec, 346 yds rookie year) under a scheme built for balance
Young (22) with a full rookie-year workload already absorbed - no mileage concern

Cons

O-line still described as a work in progress in camp despite the investment (Fox5 Vegas, Aug 4 2026)
New OC/scheme (Janocko running Kubiak system) with zero 2026 in-season sample yet
Rookie efficiency was poor (1.6 YPC before contact) and red-zone scoring for this team has been historically inefficient
QB situation (Cousins, with rookie Mendoza waiting) still unproven in this new offense

Why our rank differs from ADP

disagree lower

rookie-year efficiency collapsed in a broken offensive environment

Full breakdown +

- Finished as just RB15 in PPG despite a league-high touch total - Raiders were 31st in red zone scoring attempts and 30th in yards/play around him - Second-fewest yards before contact in the league -- the O-line failed him - New Kubiak scheme and OL investment are unproven promises, not results yet
